REFILLING HP 51641, C1823, C6625 & C6578 SERIES CARTRIDGES MADE RELIABLE BY REPEAT-O-TYPE

Dateline – Wayne, NJ, May 21, 2001 – The problems of getting Hewlett-Packard’s 51641, C1823, C6625 and C6578 series color inkjet cartridges to start printing reliably after being refilled has been solved by Repeat-O-Type Mfg. Corp.
Repeat-O-Type recently introduced successful “do-it-yourself” refill kits for the HP DeskJet 700/800 and 900 and PhotoSmart series printers. The patent-pending technology used in the their new kits is now being made available to the recharging industry.
Fred Keen, Repeat-O-Type’s Director of Sales and Marketing, announced that a special starter solution, cartridge clip, and syringe used in the refill kits will be offered to customers in the recharging community who purchase Repeat-O-Type’s bulk inks. The starter fluid will add only about 7 cents to the cost of refilling a color chamber - a small cost compared to the high failure rate encountered when not using the fluid. The procedure involves simply injecting 1cc of the starter solution into each color chamber before adding the ink. The solution will be offered in pint bottles at $30.00 each.
“The refill kits we have developed include a special cartridge holding clip and a gravity-feed dispensing syringe for use while refilling. The clip prevents cross contamination of the colored inks and the gravity-feed syringe eliminates foaming of the ink.
